Great Expectations

Ladies... I think its time we have a little chat... Men you can LISTEN too, because this is to benefit you.

They say not to give the milk for free if you're trying to sell the cow... however when it comes to promotions ... sometimes a little is a good idea...

NOW GET YOUR MINDS OUT OF THERE! That's not what I'm talking about!

I'm talking about a little preview into the world of an unpublished manuscript.
That's right... My books are nowhere near to being completed but I figure why not put some of the thoughts out there for those to read... Show a little and leave them wanting more right?!


Alright ladies here it goes...
In most of my dating life I've always wanted that perfect romance, the man whose everything I've ever dreamed I would have. The man who is attentive, the man who holds chivalry as if its a law but a pleasure, the man who does those special things for you just because he wants to... LADIES I THINK WE ALL KNOW HIM RIGHT?! But yet we cant find him...
He's in our dreams ... THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE HE EXISTS, the sooner you learn that the easier your relationships will be.

As the romantic and emotional creatures that we are, we want what our men to do what we envision our dream man doing and we punish our men for something they aren't even aware of.
I've yet to meet someone who has not been a victim of this, the same as I've yet to meet a woman that's never been guilty of this.

I spent so much time stressing myself out when all I had to do was listen...
THAT'S RIGHT! We yell at them all the time because they "don't listen" but yet.. did we pay attention to anything at all that they've done?
No I don't mean the bad things. Ladies you have to STOP overlooking the things your men do for you instead of only paying attention to what they "haven't" done...

We sit here all day and say I don't need fancy things or elaborate gifts... the little things are what matter, yet when they do things for you it's as if they never made the effort in your eyes.

A good friend of mine ( I hope she is okay with me using her as an example) was at work one day and there was a big day planned right after work. Her boyfriend knew that she would be hungry and as he rushed to get everything ready in time to pick her up from work, he also made her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Now I know that most of you would be like... why wouldn't he pick her something up.. PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY?!?!
Yeah well, that's where you all make your first mistake.

When she gets in the car he gives her the sandwich and she says "What is this!? I don't want this..."

Ladies... IT IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT WHAT WE WANT, it's about what he's trying to do. As I watched him make that sandwich for her all I could think of was, wow! He's thinking of her, how sweet! When I saw how that gesture was received, I made sure she knew how that must have made him feel.
See we go through life and just move along, EXPECTING things of people, he should know, "I this, he should know I that" etc.

Some women do not get that kind of treatment... Some women get a nagging boyfriend and expect HER to do these things for him and as we all know, we don't live in the 1950's anymore, women serve more of a role than homemaker now.

She felt horrible after I told her, but that's a GOOD thing because if she hadn't have seen that, then she wouldn't be able to see any of the other little things he would do.

Just because he doesn't do what common sense tells him he should do doesn't make him wrong.
The ONLY thing you should ever EXPECT from your partner is LOVE to love you for who you are and that goes both ways.

If you want something ASK FOR IT. Just because you have known each other for years doesn't mean he "Should just know" because if that's the case then YOU "should just know" that he ISN'T going to know...that he EXPECTS you to tell him what you want.

We want men to do things to show us they care, or to do things because they want to, and we feel as though if we tell them, then they aren't doing it because they want to, but because we told them to. WRONG!
No it doesn't work that way, I am sorry to burst your bubble ladies but we are so good at reading between the lines ... except when it works in a good way. We take their words and turn them into what we think they're saying, or what we want to hear... and in doing ALL of that, we never took the time to listen to what they were actually saying...
Guess what... 9 times out of 10 what they're saying/doing is actually BETTER than what we expected in the first place, if we allow ourselves to see what he's TRYING to do.

So stop STRESSING yourselves out DRAMA QUEENS... just because you aren't fighting doesn't mean something is wrong, just because you didn't get a gift when you asked for it doesn't mean he doesn't love you, just because he isn't answering your every command doesn't mean he doesn't care ... it just means you're too wrapped up in your expectations.

The next time you find yourself doing this, take a minute to stop and ask yourself, I wonder what he expects from me, and then ask yourself; Have YOU ever bothered to think about the things he's mentioned that bother him?
MORE IMPORTANTLY have you ever said to YOURSELF he said he didn't like "this" about me, and then changed it for him on the spot? My guess is NO...
Time to stop calling the kettle black and tooting your own horn... You're no better than him if you're not putting yourself on the reverse end and taking a good look at yourself.

It's a 2 way street, we lose good people in our lives because we fail to see past our own expectations.

A Tale As Long As Time

Today I opened my Google Sky Map and sure enough the newest constellation pops up in the exact position I was aiming it, and when I noticed the position was facing the ground it really had me interested in the hype everyone has recently found in this 13th constellation.

Most have always had a hard time understanding me, how can someone be so religious and superstitious at the same time?

Because I do find a lot of interest in the Zodiac does not necessarily make me superstitious; The stars have always been a hobby of mine, I have always been fascinated by the story they tell...

Story you say? Yes... A Story... and a very revealing one at that.

As a young child My Grandmother read the Bible to me every night and I loved the stories she would tell through them, which for most parents is where I think they go wrong when it comes to the subject of God. Instead of telling me word verbatim she made it so I would understand in the form of a bed time story, more than likely the reason I've been able to retain it for this long.

One Night on my first camping trip, I experienced the same camping story Im sure every boy and girl scout hears, about Ursa Major and Minor and for me it resembled my Grandmothers Bible Bed Time Stories, and maybe paved the way for my Hobby that has turned into much more than a hobby...obsession is more of an accurate name for it.

As a Teenager and Young Adult I started to find myself noticing consistencies and resemblances in a lot of the stories from the Bible and in Astrology (the study of Stars) which is different than Astronomy ( the law of the stars) -which i found many inconsistencies-

For those whom are "Religious" most of us have favorite books in which we like to read in the bible, I am no different, My favorite book to read is Revelations for the simple fact that I am fascinated with God's plan.

Matthew 24:43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

Matthew 24:44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Clearly Matthew has given a clear warning and Revelations depicts the signs to warn you the time is near, (Natural disasters, Technology, epic tragedies...)

As I laid on my lawn one night I looked up and remembered the stories that were told...

- Orion Is known as the hunter; In Greek and Roman Myths Orion was killed by a Giant Scorpion (scorpio) While chasing Pleiades (were the seven daughters of the titan Atlas and the sea-nymph Pleione born on Mount Cyllene. They are the sisters of Calypso, Hyas, the Hyades, and the Hesperides. The Pleiades were nymphs in the train of Artemis, and together with the seven Hyades were called the Atlantides, Dodonides, or Nysiades, nursemaids and teachers to the infant Bacchus.)

Orion is mentioned 3 times throughout the Bible-

The Bible mentions Orion three times: Job 9:9 ("He is the maker of the Bear and Orion"), Job 38:31 ("Can you loosen Orion`s belt?"), and Amos 5:8 ("He who made the Pleiades and Orion"). In ancient Aram, the constellation was known as Nephila, Orion's descendants were known as Nephilim.

Which leads me to the point of this entire entry...

Ophiuchus- The Serpent Holder

He is said to restore the constellation Orion to life after he sets in the west as Scorpio rises in the East...

The Story is that As Orion is wounded and sets in the west, Scorpio rises in the east to reign over his victoryhowever the next evening as Scorpio sets in the west Ophiuchus stands above Scorpio and stomps him to death and with that Ophiuchus will give Orion the elixir and restores Orion to Life, allowing Orion to rise in the East as both Ophiuchus and Scorpio set in the west...

Considering that this constellation is at the center of both the divine cross in the heavens, formed by the galactic equator and the ecliptic, and the terrestrial mundane cross formed by the equinoxes this is quite a serious omission especially since these two crosses align every 13,000 years and are about to do so once more in 2012

Key Attributes that describe the Sign of Ophiuchus to pay attention to:

• foresight to benefit from hard times

I have always believed that God gives gifts to those who he believes will do his work, I also believe he gave us his son so that we could all be saved. I took that and the knowledge that I've gathered from the bible and my own obsessions and started to put 2 and 2 together...

My Grandmother told me almost 8 years ago that the Lord was coming... and soon... "Honey... watch the signs, he's telling us to prepare, he's getting us ready for the Beginning no not the end, because for those who have chosen him its the beginning... "

These predictions of the world ending in 2012 and the newest of May 2011 mean nothing to me because as it's stated... Of the day and hour we will not know, He is coming when we least expect it...

Do I think this whole new zodiac is a quack or some ploy to get people surging the internet sites boosting profits, its possible people may be exploiting it for that purpose but ... still true in its origin...

As Humans we often see things and leave it at face value, words, events, statements, faces...

But to me the way I see this is...

For those who see the text

For you will not know the day and time of my arrival, you will know by the signs of the time that the time is near

I take that not to mean so much of just the disasters that have been occurring, although those are definitely his wake up calls, Im looking closer, im reading between the lines...

God made everything that is... Including the Universe, he set every star in its place for his purpose, maybe to tell his story...

I believe in the "Zodiac" because I believe God made the universe, because I believe he has left his legacy, his map, HIS WORD for everyone to see, to find, to uncover.

While Scientists love to tear the bible apart and its origins and so forth, the universe is one thing that cant be altered, one thing that cant be forged, the ONE THING THAT IS THE PURE EXISTENCE OF SCIENCE'S BEING... and if the universe is in fact incorrect then everything science is based on is wrong also.

PONDER THAT FOR A MOMENT

Alright now that we've established that...

To me this looks as if God has sent his latest prophet/angel down to get the attention of those who have been missing the signs that have been in front of them since THE EXISTENCE OF TIME.

That's right -THE SIGNS-... THE CELESTIAL SIGNS!

I know some people are going to read this and think I'm nuts, put me in the category with people who believe in aliens, lochness monster, the guy who carries a cross down the street, the people who believe in 2012, etc. But... when you look at the story that is being told in the sky you can see that the story is almost at its end to set the new beginning...

- "Watch for the sign in the late hour"-

This "13th sign" didn't just pop out of no where, it wasnt just created all of a sudden... this constellation has been in the sky just as long as the rest, but its just now that this is being discovered? Nothing God has created is random, nor was it created to never be discovered.

The natural disasters as of late have knocked the Earth off of its original axis which changes the time of day...

-Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible

Ophiuchus has the characteristics as another "character" that was cast out ...

If you look at the way the stars align you may find the similarities of the stories quite profound..

Libra sits to the right of Ophiuchus showing the balance of power, As he holds the serpent who represents temptation and allows Orion to come back from the dead...

If I read the signs right or even just humor the idea what I see is that the Anti-christ is upon us and is laying the ground work for Armageddon...

Depending on your religious preferences (or lack of) you may interpret these things differently or may think this entire post is ridiculous... Which is fine... Not everyone will be a believer, that is the characteristic of free will... that's the balance of power, and what the fight for souls is all about.

As I said... the signs, story map to heaven has been there since the beginning of time... a new chapter has just been revealed...

It's you against the world, paranoia sets in as the thoughts begin to swirl

like the milky colored cream in your 3am coffee and the smoke from your cigarette

smoke blown like the dreams you once had;

Quietly moving yet loudly stepping to the same beat of a dead horse

that is now your voice that you use to victimize yourself and manipulate others;

Pushing away the miracle you refuse to recover, stepping aside from the role as a mother.

Understand what it's like to walk in my shoes she says....

To Be A King

As the second Round begins Mike Bibby froze the Heat in their tracks to push the Hawks on to fulfill the dream that Bibby was cut short of 7 years ago.

The Hawks Powered by their fearless leader in Bibby pushed ahead and sealed their fate as well as the Heat with Johnson and Smith as the ultimate power house.

The Hawks will now take on proclaimed "King" James and the Cavaliers who some believe are the team to beat this post season. Many believe that Boston will not repeat and others believe that Orlando just may be the silent sleeper. The one common denominator; Each of these teams have Kings powering them.

Reminiscent of 2002 it's Adleman vs. Jackson in the West, while the line up has changed the goal and scars remain. With so many Kings in this post season it makes one wonder where Petrie and the Maloof's heads were while demolishing probably the best TEAM to ever be established.

Maybe with this post season Petrie is watching and realizing what the Kings organization let get away and find some way to rebuild upon that.

However this post season ends whoever wants the crown must go through a King in order to earn that title.

The In's and Out's

The last 3 years haven't been anything King's fans would have ever thought they'd see. A major dismantling of what people(including outsiders) called a "Dream TEAM" with the last piece being moved last season its hard to realize that the past is the past and its time to set into reality.

The economy down, which means attendance is down another hard concept for Sacramento to grasp seeing as how every season we had a record for consecutive sellouts. Truth be told its happening all around the league, 12 teams are going to get a bailout next year and it looks as if Sacramento is going to be one of them. Will the money come to the team or will it go towards the new arena?

Yes that's right, in case you've been under a rock the plan has passed to build a brand new arena at Cal Expo. With this now in place it sets a new tone for not only the city but the club as well. With 2010 fast approaching the Maloofs have made moves to position them selves to not only rebuild but at the very least attempt to shop in 2010. A new arena and rejuvenated city is always a nice appeal. However, the key problems remain;

Who will be the coach?

Do the Maloofs really care about what we have here?

Are they really willing to take a look at the game rather than just the business side?

Do they plan to show up to any game that isn't considered high profile?

It's kind of hard for fans and players to stick by when the owners aren't. But with that said, as fans we stick by, through the hard times as well as the good. We sit through the hard times because the privilege we have over ban wagon fans is that, when the wins start pouring in it means so much more to us because we shared the teams pain. We have that bond that the others can't even comprehend. True Loyalty, True dedication.

Even though people think that's what keeps us holding on as fans, as if we are living in the past as some like to say...
Well as I've said before, If you aren't a King's fan you wouldn't understand. We understand what goes in and the product that should come out. For some its the stats, for us its heart and teamwork because after all thats what the game is all about.
